Mission and Objectives

Child & Art organizes intercultural art projects with the objective to enhance the development of children.

The association Child & Art aims at improving the conditions of children in developing countries by projects based on sustainability.

Sustainability in planning, realisation and permanent care for children by natives following the workshops as well as the realisation of joint art happenings in the public are part of the project.

The intercultural exchange develops communication as well as the respect for foreign cultures.

The association Child & Art takes utmost consideration for the native culture when projects are prepared and realised.

In Switzerland, Child & Art offers workshops to foster children individually and to develop with them a consciousness for togetherness. Thus our children do support children in developing countries.

The artistic lead is granted by the initiator of the project, Mrs. Garda Alexander.

Garda Alexander (www.garda.ch) is a free-lance artist. She manages art projects and leads workshops. She firms under www.corporateart.ch. Since 1999 she has realized projects with children. Garda Alexander wishes to direct her competences for children: “Our children are our future.”
